Careers at RTK

Data Analyst

Own the data pipelines and predictive models that drive our pricing decisions, from raw data ingestion to production.

Why this is hard

RTK Tickets is a fast-moving, data-driven brokerage at the intersection of live entertainment, technology, and trading. We provide liquidity in live event markets where prices, demand, and inventory can change by the minute.

Our pricing and purchasing decisions depend on fast, accurate data from many marketplaces. Turning fragmented listings, transactions, and market signals into reliable forecasts and production-ready data systems is challenging, and the results directly affect the business.

The job

As a Data Analyst at RTK Tickets, you will own the systems and models that drive our pricing decisions. You will design and maintain data pipelines that ingest market data from dozens of sources, develop predictive models that forecast demand, and work closely with our risk and operations teams to turn insights into actions.

You will have end-to-end ownership, from raw data ingestion to production-ready models. Your work will directly influence how we price, buy, and sell across thousands of live events.

What you would own

Your day-to-day work will include:

  • Design, build, and maintain data pipelines that ingest and process transaction and listing data from external marketplaces.
  • Develop and refine predictive models that forecast demand, identify pricing inefficiencies, and optimize offers.
  • Implement data quality frameworks and monitoring systems to ensure fresh, accurate, and reliable data.
  • Build and manage data warehouse pipelines and modeling (ETL/ELT) for large-scale datasets.
  • Collaborate with the risk and operations teams to translate model outputs into actionable decisions.
  • Partner with engineers to integrate pipelines with CI/CD processes and automate data workflows.
  • Present your findings clearly to both technical and non-technical teammates.

How we work

You will work closely with risk, operations, and engineering in a fast-paced, startup-like environment. We value ownership, accurate data, clear communication, and using AI and automation to improve the way we work.

What to expect

You will gain hands-on experience at the intersection of data, product, and live entertainment. Your pipelines and models will directly influence how we price and trade across thousands of live events every week.

Interview process

Our interview process begins with an initial conversation with our HR team, followed by introductory discussions with the hiring team. Candidates then complete a Python-based take-home exercise focused on data ingestion, pipeline design, and predictive modeling, walk through their solution with the team, and meet with the hiring manager and senior leadership.
